Econocom has been successfully reappointed to the National School Leasing Framework for the fourth consecutive time, reinforcing its position as one of the UK's leading providers of trusted, compliant education technology finance.

The new four-year framework, sponsored by Durham County Council, enables schools, academies and Multi-Academy Trusts across England to secure leasing solutions through a trusted, compliant and pre-approved route, giving schools confidence that they are working with an established and approved finance partner.

The award reflects Econocom's continued commitment to supporting the education sector with flexible, transparent financing solutions that enable schools to invest in technology while managing budgets effectively. By working through the National School Leasing Framework, schools can be confident they are accessing a finance solution that has been independently evaluated and meets the highest standards of public sector procurement.

For over a decade, Econocom has worked alongside schools and education partners to help fund essential ICT and AV investments, enabling educational establishments to refresh technology, improve digital learning environments and spread the cost of investment through affordable, structured payments.

The National School Leasing Framework provides schools with a fully compliant procurement route, giving education leaders confidence that leasing arrangements meet public sector procurement requirements while reducing procurement complexity and saving valuable time.

The latest framework award follows a comprehensive evaluation process, during which Econocom successfully met all technical specification requirements and achieved full marks for Social Value within the Educational Establishment Lease Facilities assessment, further demonstrating the company's commitment to delivering value beyond finance.

Jan Dhamrait, Head of Technology Financing & Management at Econocom UK & Ireland, said: "We are incredibly proud to have retained our position on the National School Leasing Framework for the fourth consecutive term. This achievement reflects the trust placed in Econocom by the education sector and our continued commitment to helping schools access the technology they need through flexible, compliant and sustainable financing solutions.

As schools continue to invest in digital learning, cybersecurity, classroom technology and infrastructure, our aim is to make that investment as easy and as straightforward as possible while helping education providers maximise their budgets.”

Through the framework, schools can access finance for a wide range of technology investments including:

  • ICT equipment

  • Laptops and desktops

  • Interactive displays and AV solutions

  • Classroom technology

  • Servers and infrastructure

  • Network equipment

  • Digital transformation projects

By removing procurement complexity and offering predictable payments, the framework allows schools to focus on improving learning outcomes while keeping pace with rapidly changing technology.

Econocom looks forward to continuing its partnership with schools, academies, Multi-Academy Trusts and education suppliers across the UK throughout the new four-year framework, helping education organisations invest with confidence through a trusted, compliant and proven financing solution.
