On March 6th, Econocom proudly hosted an International Women’s Day networking event at The Dilly, London, bringing together dynamic and inspiring women from across the technology and finance sectors. This evening wasn’t just about networking, it was about celebrating achievements, sharing experiences, and reinforcing the power of women supporting women.
Championing Progress & Possibility
At Econocom, we believe that diversity drives innovation. As a company specialising in digital transformation, we see firsthand the incredible impact that diverse teams bring to business success. However, we also recognise that while progress has been made, true equality still requires action.
Today, 28% of the UK tech workforce is made up of women - a significant improvement but there’s still more to be done to ensure women have equal opportunities at every stage of their careers. Creating spaces for connection, mentorship, and advocacy is crucial in accelerating change, and this event was a step in that direction.
An Evening of Inspiration & Connection
The event provided a space for women to come together, share their journeys, uplift one another, and build meaningful relationships. Attendees were welcomed with drinks and canapés, setting the stage for engaging discussions and invaluable networking opportunities.
Throughout the evening, we heard from inspiring voices like Jan Dhamrait (Head of Technology Management & Finance, Econocom UK & IRL), Jessica Harrison (Sales Director at EPOS) & Nichola Clayton (Head of Global Channel Marketing at EPOS), who shared their experiences of creating opportunities for women in tech and finance.
Thank You to Our Sponsor, EPOS
This event was made possible with the support of our sponsor, EPOS, a company that champions excellence and diversity. Like Econocom, EPOS is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where women’s contributions are recognised and celebrated at every level.
A Movement, Not Just a Moment
As the night came to a close, one thing was clear, this was more than just an event. It was a reminder of the strength found in community collaboration and shared ambition. At Econocom, we remain committed to driving change, creating opportunities, and ensuring that women’s voices continue to shape the future of technology and finance.
Thank you to everyone who joined us. This is just the beginning.
